2017-2018 Tuition Schedule

Tuition payments are non-refundable because salaries and expenses related to maintaining the school for the entire year continues even when a child withdraws from the program. The family deposit is required with the first tuition payment for new families, as applicable. Family deposits and tuition are only refundable as outlined in the Family Deposit Agreement, which is stated in the online registration.

Exceptions to this policy are limited to the following situations

  • Relocation out of state or to another city not within reasonable driving distance to RKMS. A written letter is required.
  • Children with special needs with written documentation from a specialist.

Payment Schedule
The first tuition payment for the school year is due in February of that school year and the final payment is due in October of that school year. Families also have the option of paying in full in February.

RKMS is committed to providing quality Montessori education. It is the policy of RKMS that tuition revenue will cover the operating expenses of the school. Parents of first-year students should not assume that fees for the second and third years would remain the same.

Late Tuition Payment
Prompt payment of all tuition and fees is necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the school. All financial obligations must be paid on or before the date they are due. Failure to do so may jeopardize your child’s enrollment. A late fee of $50 will apply for unpaid tuition 30 days after the due date. Requests to enroll for the upcoming school year will not be processed unless tuition and fees are current. Requests to forward records or write recommendations for other schools cannot be honored until all financial obligations are satisfied. If at any time you are unable to meet your financial obligations to RKMS, please contact the Admissions/Program Director to discuss other arrangements.

Tuition Assistance
Resources are available to offer financial aid to a limited number of families who otherwise might be unable to continue benefiting from our educational programs. Scholarship grants are based on need. Acknowledging that family circumstances change and that the financial resources of our school vary, an annual application is required. Please contact the Admissions/Program Director regarding financial aid. Applications must be submitted by April 1st.
